Sauk River Park Rules

Park is located by the Sauk River (205 5th Ave NE), beautiful park with lots of upgrades.

  • Handicap-accessible restrooms

  • 2 areas of playground equipment including swing sets and activity center

  • Fishing

  • Kayak launch

  • Horseshoe pits

  • Basketball court

  • Outdoor sand volleyball court

  • Concrete bean bag boards (bring your own bags)

  • Concrete ladder toss (bring your own golf balls)

  • Disc Golf

  • Soccer Fields

    • One regulation size

    • One youth size

  • Two regulation softball fields—one with lighting 

  • Zipline

  • Small picnic pavilion with tables

  • Large picnic pavilion with serving area with electricity, refrigerator, sink, and hot water.

    • For reservations, call the Melrose City Center @ 320-256-4278; $100.00 rental fee plus $100.00 clean-up and key deposit fee

Camping at the Park

Sauk River Park Campground is now taking reservations for Sites 1-15 Online Only.

Camping Reservations

Sites A, B, C , D and Tents Sites are first come first serve.

  • $35 +fees for RV's and campers and $15 for tents, 19 sites include electricity and water.  We have 6 primitive tent sites without services. All together 25 sites.

  • Drop box for payments is located in the park for first come first serve sites.

  • Fire rings at each campsite

  • Sanitary dump station

  • 7 day stay limit

  • Open from May 1st to Oct 1st, weather permitting.
